The Boston Globe has an article: A storybook beginning on the recent winner of the National Book Award, Jeanne Birdsall. Her first novel, The Penderwicks, is an old-fashioned tale set on Cape Cod. The article tells about Birdsall’s personal story. A series of installments following The Penderwicks are in the works.

hi i love the penderwicks the summer tale of four sisters two rabits and a very interesting boy it was the best book i ever read at our school it was one of our south carolina childrens
book awards but i couldn’t vote because i didn’t read 5 books
but i would pick yours you are my fav aurthor please write back
