The next Christopher Paolini book has been announced!  The third book in the Inheritance series is titled Brisinger.

  2. Well I think not! All of the other books have been awesome so why shouldn’t this one be as good as the others? I for one am about to die because I have to wait 8 months! eight stinking months, after like 2 years of waiting after the 2nd book came out, i cant wait!

  5. I am pumped for this book but even more than that i am thrilled that he extended the series to 4 books not just 3 which means there is so much more to get involved in and follow this crazy story.

  10. I thought the next dragon was supposed to be green? There’s already been a gold dragon…unless it’s the same one. Why do we have to wait so long! OMG! …and-why did they butcher the eragon movie so much!? It’s not at all like the book. It makes me mad.

  12. OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I just finished eragon and eldest again when I heard that the trilogy is now a quadlogy!!! I am reading it now in japanese!! I AM ENGLISH!

  13. yey im so happy its been changed to a ‘cycle’, even though it means more waiting for the fourth book. can’t wait for the third book the first two were awsome, i love reading them. why was the film so shockingly bad! did the producers and directors acctually read the book? … from the look of the film, i think not!

  19. So this book Brisinger is set to come out on the 20th of september unless they change it again. I just looked it up. i believe that is the most recent update.

  24. I absolutely LOVED!!! the ERAGON AND ELDEST BOOKS! they were awesome. i read eldest twice it was sooo good. I can’t wait 4 eldest 2 come out! I really hope arya falls in luv with eragon even though it’s not gonna happen(most likely)she was probably in love with that 1 elf she wouldn’t tell eragon bout. Also i was woderin if the 3rd book is really gonna b split in2 cause i heard somthin like that. My fave peeps r eragon and arya( i no just like every1 else:-)) Please answer my ? ABSOLUTELY SOME OF THE BEST BOOKS EVER!!!!!

  25. This book will be ausome. I’ve said it many times before, yet I swear I mean more than I did the last. Paolini is really gifted and I don’t think he will let us down. He did’nt do it last time why would he do it again?

  27. i am truly dissapointed in christopher. he said that it was a three book series and then changes his mind and makes it a four book series. and ‘brisinger’ doesn’t go along with the 5 letters in a title and starts with an “E”, such as ‘Eragon’ or ‘Eldest’.
    but i will still read it. just a little dissapointed.

I’m so pumped up for this book I can’t contain myself and hearing this thing about 4 books instead of 3 is pretty sick, it only means more thrilling adventure’s I still hate that they really F***ed up on the movie. Seriously it was pathetic and by far the worst movie ever. I personally think they should remake it again. Risa!!!

  32. I am so looking forward to BRISINGER!!! I’ve been a fan ever sense ERAGON first came out ad have read each book at least five times. I was even more thrilled when I heard that the trid book was being split into two. 🙂

  34. Why be dissapointed? he said that its was gona be three books but its got so large he had to make two of it. And about the brisinger…. first thing he thought about and its have a great meaning in the book so why is that so bad?

  36. i liked the 1st and 2nd ones, but i HATED the ending of the Eldest. (when he turned murtagh evil. He was my favorite!!! i was in hysterics.

  37. this is my favorite book ever, i have been into these books so much. i feel like it has been 3 years since the last book came out i hope it doesent take 2 and 1/2 more years for number four to come out allthough he probably has the rest of the series written.

  39. God this book is going to be great, I really can’t wait! I love these books, but I realllllllly hate the Eragon movie it sucked! I didn’t like the ending of Eldest too, I really was starting to like Murtagh.
