Saw a trailer for this on TV. I’ll embed it here, but be aware that it is basically the entire story played out in trailer form. Man, I so prefer teaser trailers! Based on the novel by Alex Flinn, this film version comes out in March of this year and stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer.
So, fans of the novel, what do you think of this film version?

I dunno. He’s not ugly looking. He just looks INTERESTING. And yes: WAY to tell the WHOLE FREAKIN’ NOVEL in the trailer. I hate, hate, hate it when movie trailers do that.

I think it looks great! I haven’t read the book, but what a neat adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. I think I’ll enjoy the movie more if I see it before I read the book. This is going on my to-read list now.
