Hurrah! I really loved this picture book by Doreen Cronin, the third in the series that started with Click, Clack, Moo. It is one of those books that kids and adults both enjoy, but on different levels. Great fun to read aloud too!

This dark book explores the guilt that survivors have to bear and the truth that they have to face. It is a powerful character study of Ginny, drawing readers into the mystery of what happened during the accident. Hard to put down, it will appeal to girls who like stories with tragic accidents but also to those who are looking for a strong female protagonist grappling with real issues.
