A good look in Frank’s writing style and the themes in her books, America and Friction.

I loved your book “America” and will be reading more of your books.
I’m a Junior in High School, and I have chosen America to read as an SSR novel.
I would Like to know more about you. For example wear you’ve grown up, how you got started in your writing abilities
I had a brother who died about three years ago, and he always had therapy, which he didn’t enjoy. He came up with these images, beleiving that he was left three days in a row locked in the basement. Which never happened, for the fact that we didn’t have a basement.
Anyway I would really like to know more about you and how you thought of the ideals in your novels.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Nicole Lemerond

hey,
i just want to say that Life is Funny, will always be my all time favorite book. How the characters connected and they took on traits of each others in certain ways was just amazing. E.R. Frank completely inspired me and I hope to write a book one day as real as that one.

dear e.r.frank, on your book friction, you wrote about the jehovah witnesess, why would you write about them not really knowing their true believes?I know some stuff about them and you put it like their some bad religion, well after i read that part of the book i didnt feel like reading it no more. What’s the point of writing something your not really sure of.

It is with great dismay that I write about your book Life is Funny. How sad that you’re exploiting these teens lives for other teens to read for entertainment. There is no sense of hope or moral grounding. Do you have no hope for your patients? Should young adults only be given literature that is filled with more and more destruction? Do you think this is all they should read so that teens who don’t experience this think that this is how life should be, or those that do experience these things think that this is normal and that is just how the world is? I don’t believe this book belongs in young adult literature. The book should’ve been written for adults who are interested in social work or for adults who are unaware of these circumstances, but now as it stands, Life is Funny resides at the top with BET, MTV, reality t.v. shows, and all other worthless entertainment that is ruining our youth. Thanks but no thanks for your contribution.
