A Massachusetts 2nd grade teacher has gotten into trouble from parents for reading King & King. Her administrator on the other hand, is supporting her teaching of diversity. As I read the article, it seems to me that the outraged people tend to be the conservative organizations, not individual parents. I also think that children living in families with gay parents have the right to be understood by their classmates and to have books read aloud that mirror their own lives.

Puts forth an ideology that is contrary to Biblical teaching. I won’t read it to my kids.

I think that the people in this world need to open up to other lifestyles. It isnt 1950 anymore its 2007. Accept your lifestyle for what it is and let other people live their’s. Kids to learn that there are other types of families out there. why keep them in the dark of what is going on in the world??? if you were good ppl and parents you would let them know how the world is but do it on a level that they will understand.
