This post was on the same page as another of yours when I was searching for someone’s comments on the book ‘Jazz Baby’. I had to laugh at your comment on Hugo Cabret winning the Caldecott. In a way though, isn’t it really sad that a book as good as this isn’t a natural to expect to receive a top honor? It was one of my favorites that year and I was glad to see it win.
BTW, thanks for the short review of Jazz Baby. I’ll be looking for in in the library.
