Ghostopolis by Doug TenNapel
Green Monk by Brandon Dayton
Meanwhile: Pick Any Path by Jason Shiga (my review)
Saturn Apartments V. 1. by Hisae Iwaoka

Yummy: the Last Days of a Southside Shorty by G. Neri and Randy Duburke (my review)

I’ve been slowly building our graphic novel section. The previous librarians ignored them and the kids love to death every single one I’ve gotten. I wish I could buy more, but I’m working on it. I have Meanwhile and have Smile on my list (along with many others). I think the Lightening Thief one I just ordered will be big because some of the developing readers will be willing to try it when the novel puts them off.

Our graphic novel collection is growing slowly. This list will help. Between that and the newest members of our kid book club I think we are going to rock 2011 with the graphics! Thanks.
