Shadow of a Doubt

Shadow of a Doubt by S. L. Rottman (1-56145-291-2)
Shadow’s brother, Daniel, ran away from home seven years ago and has never contacted the family again. But his leaving has impacted Shadow and his parents deeply. What will happen when Daniel re-enters their lives?
A great character-driven book for boys featuring a kid who turns to forensics rather than sports, making it pretty unique. Shadow is a vividly rendered protagonist that everyone will relate to.

  1. My 7th grade reading class would like to send a message to S. L. Rottman to let him know how much we loved the book, Stetson, and ask him if he would consider writing a sequel. Thanks!

  2. I thought this book was definately a 10/10 rated book! There was romance, struggle, and an everyday life story in this book!
Even though there was much fatigue and frustration in Shadow’s life…he pulled through and came out as a better person
