My name is Tasha Saecker, and I am the Assistant Director of the Appleton Public Library in Appleton, WI. I started my library career over 20 years ago as a children’s librarian, and continue to be connected to books for children and young adults.

I hope in Waking Brain Cells, you find a warm, friendly place where books for children and teens are celebrated.

• I review board books and picture books through teen novels on a variety of subjects, fiction and nonfiction.
• I review mainstream published, and indie published works.  I am no longer accepting self-published works.
• I accept ARCs, fully published works and e-books (either pdf, NetGalley, Edelweiss, or ePub formats.)
• I do not participate in or promote Kickstarter or other funding campaigns for books.

I only review titles that I really enjoy, so sending me a review copy is not a guarantee that your book will be reviewed on my blog.
